Account Opening with Passport

If you want to open an account at Investimental, but you are not a Romanian citizen, you need:

• passport;
• a document proving your home address or permanent residence (utility bill, bank statement issued by an authority in your country of domicile/permanent residence);
• Your IBAN code and a bank statement proving you are the account holder.

If you are a Romanian citizen with your domicile abroad, you need:

• a CRDS-type passport (Romanian citizen domiciled abroad) or a valid national ID card;
• a document proving your home address or permanent residence (utility bill, bank statement, or another document issued by an authority in your country of domicile/permanent residence);
• your IBAN code and a bank statement proving you are the account holder.

In any case, it’s important to provide correct information about your tax residency so you can receive the appropriate tax treatment for your gains. Therefore, please provide a tax residency certificate or another document that clearly shows where you are required to pay tax on profits from trading or holding financial instruments.
