During the account opening process, you are required to register a bank account in your relationship with Investimental, which you can use for funding. Additionally, if you wish to add another bank account from which to make a payment, you can register it by entering the IBAN and uploading a bank statement in the Money menu, section IBAN Codes. To fund your trading account, you will find all the necessary information in the Deposits section. When it comes to funding, you have two options. You simply select the account from which you want to make the payment, the account currency, the amount you want to deposit, and the account you want to fund, then choose one of the two options below. The entire process is extremely easy and fast. Funding directly from the Portal – ultra-fast, without having to open new pages or juggle browsers. You are simply redirected to your internet banking application (depending on the account you are funding from), you log in, follow the steps, and that’s it. On mobile, it’s even easier, especially if you have biometric authentication enabled. Your browser, antivirus software, or firewall may block the redirection. If this happens, you can allow redirection from the Investimental Portal by selecting the option Always allow pop-ups and redirects from https://portal.investimental.ro, as shown in the image below, or you can use the alternative funding method. Funding via bank transfer – also a very good option if you feel more comfortable this way. We have developed algorithms that recommend the account to which you should make the payment so that the funding is as fast as possible, especially if your bank is enrolled in the instant payment system. You fill in the details and then click Display. You will notice that the Portal displays the Investimental bank account where the funds can arrive the fastest based on the IBAN you selected, as well as the payment details that you can enter in your internet banking application from which you initiate the transfer. You can make an intrabank transfer (a payment from an account opened with one of the banks where Investimental also holds accounts) or a transfer up to the limit of RON 50,000 from a bank account opened with a bank registered in the “Instant Payment” system, managed by Transfond (it is important that the beneficiary bank is also enrolled in the same system). The Instant Payment system operates 24/7/365. Since some banks have optimized instant payments only for mobile, we recommend funding your account directly from the mobile application. Once the payment has been processed by the bank and the amount is credited to Investimental’s bank account, the funding operation is recorded in your trading account. Interbank payments take longer, depending on the time the payment was made, the bank’s processing time, and the transfer currency. An interbank transfer in RON or EUR can be credited to Investimental’s bank account on the same day if the payment order is submitted to the bank by 12:00; otherwise, it may take 1–2 business days. Payments in USD may take longer, depending on the correspondent banks of the paying bank and the beneficiary bank. If you make a payment from an account denominated in a currency different from the currency of Investimental’s bank account, the bank may perform a currency exchange without prior notice. To avoid such situations, you will notice that when you select a trading account with a different currency than that of the bank account you are paying from, you will be able to transfer the funds directly to our bank account in the same currency as the one you are paying from. Subsequently, the currency exchange will be carried out by Investimental, according to the details displayed in the Portal. The funding of the trading account is displayed in the “Activity” report in Investimental BVB for RON and EUR transfers, as well as in Investimental Global, section “Account Transactions”, for USD transfers.
