Cash Withdrawal Guide

In the Portal, the withdrawal operation is initiated from the Funds menu, Withdrawals section:

Please complete the information regarding the trading account from which you wish to withdraw cash, the amount in the currency of the selected trading account, as well as the IBAN code where you want to receive the funds. Then click the “Withdraw” button. The initiation of the withdrawal is confirmed by clicking the “Confirm” button in the pop-up window.

Afterwards, you can track the withdrawal status in the Report section:

The payment is taken over by the Investimental team and will be processed on the same day if the amount is available in your trading account, or on the date when the settled cash balance covers the withdrawal request amount. Withdrawal requests to bank accounts opened at the same banks where Investimental also holds accounts will be processed intrabank to ensure fast transfers. For speed and transfer optimization, we also use the “Instant payment” system (transfers made between two banks registered in this system, if the bank from which you initiated the transfer is part of this system).

Similar to funding the trading account in a different currency (for example, funding a USD trading account from a RON bank account), you can perform the reverse operation, directly from the USD trading account to a RON bank account, by carrying out the currency exchange through Investimental, according to the details displayed in the Portal.

For these types of withdrawals, it is important to note that if you already have an IBAN registered in the currency from which you wish to make the withdrawal, then the IBAN to which you can withdraw the funds must be in the same currency. Wondering why? Well, Investimental can perform currency exchanges only for trading purposes. Otherwise, if you are not in this situation, you will be able to safely withdraw cash to bank accounts in other currencies.

Note: To request a payment to a bank account, it must be registered in the Investimental system; the IBAN account confirmation is done through a previous funding operation.

As soon as the payment has been processed in Investimental’s internal system, the withdrawal operation is displayed in the same section called Report in the Portal.
